Is Hanoon QR Code Generator free?

Yes, Hanoon QR Code Generator is 100% free with no hidden fees, no watermarks, and no sign-up required.

Is my data safe when creating QR codes?

QR content and uploaded images are processed locally and masked from Clarity. Anonymous analytics starts by default; if you continue without cookies, cookieless measurement remains active.

What types of QR codes can I create?

Create QR codes for URLs, plain text, WiFi, vCard contacts, email, SMS, phone numbers, calendar events, social profiles, app store links, and locations. For example, entering https://example.com/menu encodes that address directly, without a Hanoon redirect.

Can I add a logo to my QR code?

Upload a PNG, JPG, or SVG logo up to 2MB and adjust its size and margin. A large logo, low contrast, or cropped margins can interfere with scanning. Test the downloaded code at its final size on real devices.

What export formats are supported?

Download as PNG, SVG, or PDF, with a QR size up to 4096px. Dense codes need a larger size for PNG and PDF export. Frame and background padding can increase the total output dimensions.

Do these QR codes expire, and can I change their destination?

This generator creates static QR codes with no built-in expiration. A saved code keeps its original content; changing the encoded URL requires a new QR image. You can update the page at the same URL, but that address must remain available.

How much content fits, and what does error correction change?

This tool measures the full encoded content in UTF-8 bytes, not characters. Limits are L: 2953, M: 2331, Q: 1663 (default), and H: 1273 bytes. Higher error correction improves resilience but leaves less room for content.
